The Animal Rescue League of Boston is seeking an exceptional Director of the President’s Council to join our Advancement Department!
The Director of the President’s Council serves as the lead major gifts officer with responsibility for identifying, researching, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects capable of supporting the Animal Rescue League of Boston at the level of $1,000 and above.
These individuals make up the President’s Council, a high-end annual fund donor circle offering donors between $1,000 and $100,000 special benefits and recognition. The Director of the President’s Council will also be responsible for the management and growth of the Anna Harris Smith Legacy Society, the League’s bequest intention donor recognition club. Concurrently, the Director of the President’s Council will function as a productive and cooperative team member in a small, busy development department and provide coverage for departmental and League-wide activities when needed.
A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required, and as well as a minimum of three years experience in non-profit fundraising with a proven track record in successfully leading prospects through the cultivation and solicitation cycle. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are essential as well as a strong attention to detail. Come join our team!
